Please make sure you have room access information in the event of late arrival. If you will arrive later than 9 PM and do not know the door code to access your room make sure you call for that information.
For your convenience guests are welcome to check in at the store on arrival. Coffee and muffins are available to guests in the store from 7 AM to 10 AM.
If you choose to make coffee in your room, ask us for a coffee pot and bring your favorite coffee blend.
Guests are expected to provide their own toiletries, however, samples and convenience items are available for sale should you forget anything.

COVID-19 POLICIES
Guests who have been exposed to COVID-19, displayed COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat) should find lodging elsewhere. For the safety of long-term guests and employees, the Lake Superior Lodge is not offering respite rooms at this time. Should you fall ill during your stay, please notify staff so we can block your room for hazard cleaning upon your departure and connect you to any medical resources you may need. Social distancing is required in all common areas. Please call the hotel line at (715) 209-0453 or email to connect with us.
CHECK-IN POLICY
Reservations should be prepaid with a valid credit card 48 hours before arrival. At that time, any remaining amount due will be charged to your credit card including the total amount of the room fee, taxes and any other fees. All Check-ins are contactless. You will receive an email with a 4-digit access code 48 hours prior to your stay. Please be sure to provide an email and phone that you use regularly for ease in contacting you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations are fully refundable 15 days prior to check-in and subject to a cancellaion fee. For reservations cancelled between 3 and 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations received within 48 hours prior to check-in will not be refunded. Management reserves the right, at management discretion, to offer a credit for a future stay. To cancel a reservation, please call the hotel line and leave a message at (715) 209-0453 or email bayfieldlsl@gmail.com.
SMOKING POLICY
The Lake Superior Lodge has an indoor non-smoking policy. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a $250 room cleaning fee. All balconies are also smoke-free. Smoking is allowed only on designated smoking areas on the grounds or decks.
DAMAGE & REPLACEMENT POLICY
Every item from bed linens, pillows, towels, coffee pots, televisions, air conditioners, and other items in the room have a cost and replacement value associated with them. If we find that anything was damaged during your stay and we need to replace that item, you will be assessed a charge to your account for the replacement value of that item. If you feel that something was broken prior to your check-in, please notify us immediately, so we may remedy the situation. Call the main Lodge number at (715) 209-0453.
PET POLICY
Lake Superior Lodge does not allow pets of any kind.
ROOM POLICY
Overnight guests are not allowed except with permission of management. Additional charges beyond maximum capacity may result in an additional charge of $50 per guest per night. The hotel allows guests, with permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property. We are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them. Quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Please be respectful of your neighbors. Guests creating a nuisance or violating any of the policies and procedures may be asked to leave with no refund allowed. All guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors. This policy includes any group activities for which guests are responsible.
KITCHEN & GRILLING POLICY
Please practice safe cooking habits and do not leave burners unattended. Please do not cook with strong smelling ingredients. Lingering smells that require room closure and deep cleans will be charged a cleaning fee of up to $150. Grills are available on a first come, first served basis for a daily rate of $30.00. Please contact staff for proper placement and operation of grills. Must be 18 years or older to operate.
PARKING POLICY
Each unit is allowed one vehicle, with occasional exceptions at the discretion of management, based on the season and occupancy. Please park as close to your unit as possible and allow others to do the same. Boats and trailers are generally not allowed. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. The Lodge has limited security camera coverage. Please notify staff of any incident that comes to your attention. Management reserves the right to register vehicles per room and provide parking permits at particularly busy times.
MINIMUM AGE POLICY
Each reservation must include an adult 18 years of age or older. For multiple room bookings please contact management (715) 209-0453 with regards to any rooms occupied solely by youth under the age of 18.
CHILDREN POLICY
All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult or have adult supervision while on the Lake Superior Lodge property. Guests who fail to abide by this policy and whose children cause damage or annoy other guests, may be asked to leave the hotel premises, without refund.
ROOM CLEANING POLICY
Lake Superior Lodge does not provide maid service or room cleaning during individual stays. Each room is provided with sufficient linens for an average stay of 2 to 4 days. Amenities for use upon arrival are available. Any amenities provided are for the convenience of arriving guests and are not intended to provide for their personal hygiene. Lake Superior Lodge has a convenience store for additional needs and /or shopping in Bayfield is available. If a room refresh is desired, certain protocols will need to be followed and an additional fee will be assessed at check-out. Additional linens may be provided at the discretion of management. Please contact us for rags, old towels, or other cleaning supplies you may need to keep your unit tidy during your stay. The Lake Superior Lodge’s cleaning standards meet county, state and federal recommendations but we are unable to offer a guarantee of non-exposure and any guest or person who is on property accepts the risk of transmission of any and all illnesses.
FIREARMS POLICY
Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state and local laws with respect to firearms. Guests of the Lake Superior Lodge who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm are expected to keep firearms in their vehicles, unloaded, and under lock and key. Firearms are not allowed in the units.
GUEST SAFETY POLICY
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The lodge assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while on property.

- You will be sent an email with the policies and procedures which you must agree to before completing your reservation booking. Please be on the lookout for the email and follow the on-screen instructions. Two days prior to your stay you will recieve the door code to access your room and any additional information you may need. Please provide a working cell number on registration.
RESERVATION POLICY
- Must be 18 years or older to book and check into your room.
- All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room and a valid credit card for guarantee of arrival.
- Our room rates are subject to change.
- All rooms are subject to a 14% tax and a 3.5% credit card surcharge.
- When booking group trips, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind. Two people per bedroom is the standard for King rooms. Rooms with two beds will allow up to four people. A limited number of pack-and-play units for baby are available upon request, subject to availability. A limited number of small cots are available for $20 per day at the discretion of management and subject to availability. A limited number of larger cots are available for $30 per day at the discretion of management and subject to availability.
- Reservations with a full cost of less than $400 are subject to a deposit of the full cost of the reservation

INACCURACIES AND ERRORS
Information provided by or on behalf of Lake Superior Lodge may contain inaccuracies or errors whether based on human, technical, or mechanical error. Lake Superior Lodge reserves the right to correct these inaccuracies or errors, including making changes to products, programs, and any other offers, at any time, including after confirmation of a transaction. Further, Lake Superior Lodge reserves the right to not honor reservations based on inaccuracies or errors.
MISCOMMUNICATIONS AND/OR LOST TRANSACTIONS
Lake Superior Lodge and any of its third party vendors providing services to the business are not responsible for errors in communications, miscommunications, lost communications or lost transactions and do not assume liability for any miscommunications or lost transactions. Reservations based on miscommunications or lost transactions, including those where it appears the guest may have provided informaiton based on inaccuracies or fradulent activity may be cancelled at any time.
BY SIGNING BELOW I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND AGREE WITH ALL THE POLICIES CONTAINED HEREIN. IN ADDITION, MY CREDIT CARD ON FILE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY DAMAGES OR ADDITIONAL CLEANING CASUED BY MY ACTIONS OR THE ACTIONS OF MY GUESTS
